Same scope but for sites with 40 — 80 plugins, multiple locales, or a page builder that’s tangled into the editorial workflow. The variance is almost entirely plugin replacement work — every plugin you remove has to leave behind theme code that the editor can still use.
Why fixed-price
Hourly billing on perf work is broken. The buyer pays for my learning curve. Fixed-price forces me to bring a methodology, not a stopwatch. If I can’t deliver, I refund and walk; that’s happened twice in three years.
